About Tamera

Tamera A. (Rankin) Kwist is the great grand daughter of Milton and Blanche (Newman) Rankin and the grand-daughter of Martin Vee "Mart" and Effie Jean "Jeannie" (Moore) Rankin and the daugther of Martin "Butch" and Carmen (Sell) Rankin.

She resides in northern Indiana with her husband, John, and their two children. Growing up, she lived in California, Texas, West Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Indiana where she attended 16 schools K-10.

In 2006, she graduated from Indiana University (South Bend) with a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications and an Associates Degree in English. In her spare time she writes fiction, non-fiction and poetry. She also enjoys wedding videography, genealogy and scrapbooking.

In 2005, Tamera self-published "Our Dutch Heritage: The Kwist Family", a family heirloom and genealogy book spanning 21 generations and 5 centuries of her husband's ancestry.

In 2012, Tamera's testimony about being healed through prayer at the Ireland Road Church of God was published in Joan McClendon & Jaimee Bingle's book Life on the Fringe: Testimonies of Women Moving Beyond Desperation to Faith.
